Inspiration Avenue Challenge: favorite month

This week Judy set the Inspiration Avenue challenge and once again I was quite thankful that it was an easy one. Judy asked us to share our favorite month and explain why. Last week, after I posted my IA challenge, life got in the way of everything, so I was unable to visit the other entries like I do every week. For that I apologize. I hope to have some computer time by Sunday, so I can visit you.

Not only is April my birthday month, but it is also the month in which we always think about recycling when Earth Day is near. Now I use a lot of recycled or repurposed pieces in my art, anywhere from magazine images to old wallpaper to junk mail to bits and pieces of paper and metal I find on the ground.

I'm no fool. April is the best month of the year in my world. Be sure to show your favorite month and join us over at Inspiration Avenue for this fun challenge.

You're no fool - April always smells so nice and fresh. Tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, new birth of spring. Rain showers clean aways the winter dirt. Birds return. But, I have to say, October is my favorite, I wonder if I'm the fool ;) Love the little boy and his hat!

Fun Elizabeth!
Picking a fav month would be as challenging to me as picking a favorite day...each has its own charms
April is our wedding anniversary month...isn't it someone special that I know birthday month as well? ;)

This is a fun post for the challenge. Love your pieces. I am learning to reuse and be creative with my art pieces, it is fun to give new life to used items.

On the very first Earth Day I was given a little pine tree planted in an old milk carton. That was in 4th grade. Thanx for the memory!
