It's been awhile since I featured a fiber artist. I found Kris Estenger's web site through an internet search. I was incredibly impressed with her mixed media, textiles, art quilts, and other offerings. Kris, who lives in CA (in the US), rusts fabric, too. This is what originally drew me to her site. But her fabric is rusted on a large scale. She uses huge sheets of fabric and lays it over rusty cars in the desert. You really must check out her gallery, because there are so many beautiful pieces, including her dresses on quilts, they will appeal to fiber, as well as paper artists.
