Silent Sunday's blog

Originally raised in Ireland, fabric, fiber, and ceramic artist Peig Fairbrook now lives in California (in the US). Her art quilts are made using her hand dyed fabric. She admits she prefers to begin with white cotton and dyes her fabric, then begins working spontaneously, with no prior thought. Many of her wall hangings are colorful and full of energy. I thought some were quite frenetic and disjointed, a style she seems to prefer. I hope you enjoy this site.
