I learned about this challenge from Stephanie at Dragonfly Design Studio. I couldn't resist joining because it uses found objects, and practically everything I make, including these two spreads from my Hands Altered Book, use found objects. I realize I'm late getting this in, but didn't realize how late it was until I looked at the clock. Click to enlarge for a better view.
Everything is recycled, except the polymer clay hands. The central image is from a box software came in, the white netting is from a garlic bag, and the jump rings are from some heavy wire I found in a dumpster.
For this one, I used a magazine image and key offcuts that would have landed in the trash had I not taken them. The bits of color are from ribbon I received on packages over the years.
Please check out the other entries to this week's challenge at Inspiration Avenue.

Hi Bleubeard and Elizabeth! I hadn't dropped by for a bit and wanted to see how you all were doing. I think I'll kick up my paws and have a look around.
I'd already posted the challenge pieces but just had to add you - what great work! I love using re-cycled bits and pieces in my work too - and I'm obsessed with keys :)
LOVE that software box - really cool and the keys and hand are fab, too. I love recycling, too but don't do enough of it and nowhere near as much as you do!!
Interesting box. I have just stumbled on your blog and will enjoy looking further. Warmly, Karen
love how you made things beautiful using the simplest of pieces...
Great fun - I love how you have made these.
Interesting, as usual!
Very interesting piece, I like the complexity when you really look at what is there.
My only problem is your blog looks so interesting that I'm going to be here for hours.
