Today I found a blog that I spent a lot of time reading. It's called DIY Life and there are many writers. I believe they keep the site going by selling advertising. You can learn many tips and techniques, including how to use chalk to get rid of ants, what plants will repel deer, how to conceal a scratch on an LCD screen, and what people use clothespins for. There are many pages and many tips. If you're like me, you'll find it a fascinating read, even if it doesn't have a thing to do with art.
Of course, if you want art, hop on over to Anne's blog (Liverpool Lou) and wish her a happy birthday. Did I read you'll be 30, Anne?

Love the DIY Life site, Elizabeth! I'll go wish Anne a Happy Birthday.
Just bookmarked the DIY site. Thanks!
What a great site! The deer proofing article I'm definitely going to have to read!!!!
Another showing of beautiful glass work. I just came from Kate's Corner where she showed the glass blowing art of a particular artist whose name unfortunately escapes me just now. But beautiful to see.
Hello Elizabeth - this looked a treat. The green vase with the filigree pattern caught my eye...lovely piece. And speaking of things utilitarian, like your fav. DIY site and my card holder: the card holder is a little tim with a lid to keep your business cards in.
Beautiful objects :-)
hehe 30 x 2 plus 4
Anne xx
