Tea Tuesday on my front porch

Today finds me on my front porch before it gets torn down and replaced. I'm sharing tea with Kimmie and the rest of the Tea Tuesday participants, whose blogs you can find on the sidebar at Art in Red Wagons.

I love the kitschy 50's style ashtray I leave on my front porch. It is the perfect holder for my tea infuser.

Today I'm drinking from another Taylor and Ng mug, this time Le Canard.

The tea is called Ginger Twist. This loose leaf herbal tea is a mix of lemongrass, orange peel, and mint, and includes generous bits of ginger and ginseng, which I found a bit overpowering in the first sip, but tasty and slightly sweet after I got used to it. Ginger Twist herbal tea is supposed to help promote calm, focus, and good health because it is full of antioxidants.

Remember, if you want to join Tea Tuesday, just contact Kimmie. She'll welcome you with open arms, as will the other wonderful tea participants.

My blog pick today is for our newest Tea Tuesday participant, Cat Giglio. I featured La Dolce Vita, Cat's art blog, as my blog choice on February 5, but this is her new blog, Bell'Antico (or beautiful, old) which features antiques, shopping, and beautiful living, including tea in her studio. So drop by Cat's beautiful, old blog today and share a cup of your favorite brew with her.

I'm incredibly dull about tea. English breakfast with milk please. Once a day. Other times, coffee or soft drinks. I envy you your enjoyment of these other flavours - I just can't get past the aromatics - it's like drinking perfume! Honestly, I'll never ever be sophisticated and intimidating.
