Waiting: Tea on Tuesday

Waiting for the water to boil, so I can enjoy my jasmine tea.

Waiting for more flowers to arrive, so the vase will be full.

Waiting for my garden to catch up with spring.

Waiting for the clock timer to chime.

Waiting for the jasmine leaves to infuse the water.

Waiting for the leaves to lose their potency,
so they can be added to the compost pile.

Waiting for the leaves to turn to compost in my garden.

Waiting for Earth Day.

But most of all, waiting to savor Tea on Tuesday.

What are you waiting for today?

While waiting, be sure to venture over to Kimmie's to see what the other participants are up to on this glorious spring day. Don't wait to see all the lovely entries today, or miss out on finding out the winner of Kimmie's giveaway. And please don't forget to leave them a comment, too.

Once again (and possibly for the last time this month) I am featuring a web site instead of a blog. Not sure how much information is in Haute Trash, but it focuses on design from trash, which will warm you up for tomorrow's post. At least all the designers have cute names, as does the site. I hope you find some inspiration in it on this T Tuesday.

I'm waiting for the rain to come on Thursday as promised- getting tired of lugging my watering can back and forth from the rain barrel. We've been having temps in the mid to upper 80's all week. More seasonal temps in the 70's have been promised along with the rain tho....
Your garden is looking lovely btw, is that a tulip that you're waiting for?

I often think about how much of my time is wasted with waiting for the most mundane of things - like the kitchen sink water to get hot enough to wash dishes - or the spin cycle to end so I can safely walk out of the house without imagining the washer walking around while I'm gone. Then I just take a deep breath and look around me - an opportunity to slow down :)

Happy T today! Kimmie

A wonderful post- waiting for things is always something I need to work on! I have little patience. But actually as I get older and a little slower myself I am trying to savor that 'waiting time' and breathe. Love your copper collection!
