A UHU glue tip
Always thinking green, I wrapped most of my gifts in tissue this year and glued the edges with UHU glue stick. Not only does it give a very professional appearance, it also allows my friends to return the tissue so I can recycle it by making handmade paper. Had I used tape (even double sided, which also produces a very attractive package), I would have needed to remove the tape before using the tissue to make paper. This way, all I need to do is place the tissue in the blender with other pulp. The glue will not hurt the new paper. In fact it should make the new paper even better since it is acid free, and the wrapping will be recycled.

Elizabeth - what a great idea. I would love to see a tutorial from you on how to make paper. I really enjoy your blog, you have some wonderful ideas and in particular I love your "green" ideas! Keep 'em coming. Hugs.
Hello - I enjoyed your recycle tip!
Wonderful things have come from making something from nothing.
Great idea! UHU (purple) is my favorite glue :)
