Red and Yellow color swap

I'm in this one-on-one swap with a wonderful artist, Norma, who I got to meet when I was in California in 2005. We have been working on this color swap for at least five years, so it's been a fun experience. We each make two spreads (back to back) that we can hang, put on our bulletin boards, or place in a box. This is an odd size that we decided on a long time ago to accommodate another player who eventually dropped out, and never changed. Norma loves texture and 3-D. In that spirit, I have started our Red/Yellow swap with this piece.
There are many things that stick out or are tactile. I used any and everything I could find that were red or yellow.
This is a closer view of the piece,
and this is a side view showing some of the dimensionality of the piece. And, YES, I used my new bird stencil from Cindy to create the red bird in the lower right.

Elizabeth I love this! I am dazzled by color and think it is a great prompt for artwork...but I don't often think to use 3D items...great job.
