I created this piece early because I'll be linking to Leslie Saeta at Slices of Life later, so the regular T crowd doesn't have to scroll down to find the T Stands for Tuesday post.
When I finished this piece, which was an accident looking for art to happen, I thought it looked like Oklahoma (a US state) with dyslexia. Then I realized it looked like a tea pot with an infuser.
The size of this piece is 8" X 8" (20,32 cm X 20,32 cm) and I named it "Infused."
So that's what I'm serving for T this Tuesday, along with my favorite tea cup and saucer.
Show us what you're serving today, whether it's altered art, a scrapbook page, mixed media, your garden, pet, or favorite mug or cup. Then link below and join the rest of the T Stands for Tuesday gang. We'll be by as will Bleubeard, who is here to remind you that photos don't have to be taken on Tuesday.
And while I have you here, I want to let you know I'll be playing in Seth Apter's Studio Table over at The Altered Page on Thursday, September 18. He's taking a page out of my friend Julia's What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday (WOYWW) and asking us to bare our souls studio shots. Since I'm in the throes of several challenges this month, I'll show my messes as they occur whatever mess is on my table at the time. BTW, I'm never messy, because I have to keep everything clean in my small, small space.
I've just caught up - I knew I'd missed a lot so I started from where I left off - as i wanted to read your blog posts in chronological order - Elizabeth - you amaze me! Love the tea infuser - though not a tea drinker! Chrisx
Lovely cup! and I see what you mean about the infuser! fun! I still need your mailing info- you can find my email in my google profile- click on it in the right side column of my blog. thanks.
Very excellent teapot with infuser - intended or not, I love the colours. And the wee teacup is beautiful!! Not sure I'll have anything to share T wise this week :( but I shall try :D
I love the colors of your infused painting Elizabeth! Oh gosh you are more busy than I am ..lol! You are the Challenge Queen this month for sure! I feel with you, I have to keep everthing clean here too since cause I have no real studio .. ust working on my big kitchentable - most of my stuff is in the living room, but I guess that is a good thing- since as I always have to organize and keeping the space her in order I am always inspired too. Happy T-Day dear Elizabeth! xxx Susi
Hello and Happy T Day! What a great painting again, I like the name of this one too. Are you putting these together in a book when done, can't remember if you mentioned it? What a busy month you are having, that is good for you and for us since we get to see it. Have fun!
Very creative and clever title too E! I'm not sure anyone would be ready to see my work space...it is quite shocking LOL but I have so much fun there. Wishing you and Bleubeard a Happy T Day. oxo
I wanted to thank you for your lovely comment today. I wish we lived near each other because you would LOVE playing with the gelli plate-esp. with a friend:)You do need to take several hours to allow for lots of play-and I have discovered that if you really don't like how a print turns out, just keep using it and eventually it turns out into something brilliant!
Better late than never I suppose...tagging in at the end of the list and hope to get to visit everyone later tonight! Brilliantly done painting dear E! this is a terrific project...that's a lot of paintings to commit to...good luck!
Ah your imagination is as vivid as your paintwork, love the 'infused'. I think the infuser may have been the last thing I saw!! Hey, at least over at Seth's place you won't be shy about bareing your soul...and a tidy soul it is too..if anyone needs a reference, send them to me!!
Well, I'm here with my coffee today, in spirit, anyway :) can't get into my blog to post or anything! But I've come to visit :) Happy T day I like all your paintings--I see the infuser :)
Oklahoma with dyslexia lol Elizabeth you are funny! I love finding meanings or patterns from my paintings. These 30 day challenges are quite stressful. I guess it is because I'm taking part in 2 at the same time. But still I'm enjoying each creative pieces I come up with but sadly I'm not getting enough time to comment on others art-:( Have a great week Susan

Bleubeard and I welcome you
Art, including the journey, background techniques, sewing on both paper and fabric, new experiments, photos, failures, and successes will be shared on this site. I have removed my e-mail address until such time as I can get it to work again. Thank you for understanding. You can always leave a note on my blog and I will visit you.
Please check out my Previous Collaborations link above to see what projects I have been involved in over the past 12 years. Current and ongoing projects only are shown below.
Occasionally, Silent Sunday will showcase photos of my home, neighborhood, or community. A picture is often worth a thousand words.
Feelfree to drop by every second Thursday of the month for my Second Thursday Tutorials. They are interspersed with my other Tutorials found at the link page above.

Click on the above image daily and help feed hungry dogs and cats. You can donate cat litter, too. You simply answer two questions (one about cats and one about dogs), and whether your answer is correct or not, you have just donated kibble to help feed both shelter animals and those in need.
I will create the art, critique things I feel are important, and put pen (and sometimes glue) to paper, or fingers to keys, while Bleubeard will mostly watch, supervise, or sleep.

I like that you've moved from expression only into some structure. Your subtle colours appeal to me, and I can certainly get the title.
