T(ea) Stands For Mardi Gras

It's time for Tea and a bit of Mardi Gras.

Have fun playing with all these beads (photo originally taken in 2011).

Do you have the Mardi Gras spirit?  Will you celebrate today?  Will "Fat Tuesday" be the day before you fast?  Share your T stories below.  The photos don't have to be taken on Tuesday, and it's fairly obvious, they can be taken from your archives, as mine has been today.  Please use the direct link to your T post, not your blog, so we can find you easily.  And, whether you celebrate it or not, have a great Mardi Gras.

Edit: I found the comment box under Nikki's post this week, but in order to leave a comment, I MUST join Google +, which I am not willing to do.  BTW, anyone other than the IRS who wants my year of birth can forget asking!

Hi again! Thanks for your comments on my blog. As far as your questions go, I have had older stickers lose their stickiness, on rare occasions. But I've also experienced times when stickers don't want to stick to slick or textured surfaces, so it could be the paint. I short, I don't really know why your stickers won't adhere, but both of your hypotheses sound plausible. :) I recommend glue or gel medium to stick them down, but you've probably already thought of that. :)

We don't have Mardi gras here, but next week we have a holiday called Moomba! Thanks for all your lovely comments on my digi drawing and my craft friends. I'm sure spring will come for you soon. We have gone back into Summer again. It will be warm still until mid april here!

Hello and Happy Tuesday! What a pretty picture this is, love all those beads. The teacup is very pretty as well.

No celebrating or anything going on here for us. Not sure about Lent yet.

Thank you for comments on my last post. You are so sweet, would love to have one of your cards or even trade with you. Will look thru yours and let you know, thinking I will love them all.

Now what kind of weekend has it been? You said something was going on, thought you might have it posted today. Hope everything is ok by now or better???

I am linked up and ready to visit everyone. Happy Mardi Gras to you.

Happy Mardi Gras. I need to borrow some of your beads to wear with my red silk shawl. Always love a party or a parade.

Happy Fat Tuesday to you dear E!...
Great festive photo with your pretty tea cup and beads!

To answer your recent question about the golden dots in my art journal pages...I used a wooden skewer to add droplets of the Golden's paint to both pages :)

Dear E~ thanks for linking me up today...I remembered to schedule my post, but didn't make it over to visit you until late afternoon. I too am not willing to give my birthday to Google so those folks whose comment section have a pop up asking for that info unfortunately don't get a comment from me. Love your mardi gras beads...makes me wish for some of that yeast bread with the baby hidden in it...is it called 'King' bread? It often has purple & green icing drizzled on top. Have a festive day my dear!

Mardi Gras? Really? I haven't hear any wild parties here. And FAST? What? No ... give me food! lol I do have to watch what and how much I eat nowadays. Those were the days when I could eat ice cream and potato chips for lunch and not worry about getting fat!

I finally made it!! wowsers. Tuesday was quite a day for me. Thankfully recovered enough from a stomach bug to go to my interview. More on that next week.
I did manage a post....albeit one day late.

Nope! Never have followed Mardi Gras at all. But I was just thinking that maybe the boob flashing might have slowed down with everyone and their uncle having cameras to take pictures and videos--LOL! Well, maybe not. Alcohol does not increase brain cells. ;)
