this one caught my eye.
I certainly had lots of collage fodder at my disposal for this challenge. I even stamped the three women on card stock I spritzed with some of my handmade shimmer mists.
I used everything from women dressed in their finery that I fussy cut from magazines, to fabric strips I had left over from at least three years ago. I'm trying to make a dent in my scraps box on all these challenges I've joined this year.
I had a bit of a problem with my printer, but I think you can read the quote. Unfortunately, I didn't know who Mary Schmich was, so I looked her up and learned she is a Pulitzer Prize winning American journalist who is a well known columnist for the Chicago (IL, USA) Tribune and has been since 1992.
Bleubeard and I give you our take on age for this fortnight's Craft Barn challenge.

Your page is so full of glamour & beauty; colour & texture. I think it's fabulous! 28 was a wonderful age for me. Planning my wedding and the birth of my daughter :o) Mo

The page is great and the quote is perfect.....so many of us would like to go back to that age again .
Love your collages and the quote is so apt. Wow. 28 would be nice, but only if I get to keep all the things i know now! I think I was a ver naive 28.
I'm 28 too!! Love the collage look.

Great quote, wish I could find something as good, love your page too
Fantastic collage.
WOW, these are awesome, LOVE THEM!! How fun to piece all these together, love the fancy dressed up ladies. This is a perfect way to use up your scraps.
I just started doing ATC this past weekend and seeing your ladies gives me an idea for my cards. I will do one on dresses, do you mind if I use that idea?
I honestly am not sure I'd like to go back to being 29 again. Sometimes yes, the girls would be babies and Sam wouldn't be here yet. It's hard to say, I'm enjoying my 40's more then I thought I would. Could use more energy though, lol.
I burst out laughing when I read that quote! Good one!! :)
Marvelous images....Love your intrinsic humor too. xox
Yes I'd like to be 28 again!! Great collagey images and you've created a great page.

Reminded me of a card my daughter sent when I was 50. "50's great when you look 28". Love the collage.
Great quote, great page and well done for using so many scraps.
Witty, fun quote for women, like it! Love your collage with so many details.
Re Stamping, Elizabeth, it really isn't difficult. I would advise you to try it but beware, it's highly addictive!
What a fab quote- made me laugh - more of a giggle really - reminded me of my gran who was 32 and a bit until she was in her 70's when she changed it to 42 and a bit! Just love your collage, those fabulous ladies.......aah! Good luck with your mission to use up scraps. Hope you and Bleubeard have a great weekend, Chrisx
