Friday Smiles 465

It's Friday and I'm once again joining Friday Smiles which is hosted by Annie (at A Stitch in Time).   Let's visit her and the other wonderful ladies who also share their smiles each Friday.

This will be my final Friday Smiles until April 29.  However,  I invite each of you to stop by daily beginning on the 1st and continuing for 22 days where I share something I recycle, reuse, reduce, rethink, re-invent, redesign, re-craft, recover, restore, rebuild, revamp, reclaim, and/or re-purpose to keep it out of the landfill or the recycle center.  It all ends on what others call Earth Day, but I call bEARTHday.

Here are some recent snow photos.

It was too cold to even venture out to get the mail until I was completely bundled.  I see some animal has found its way onto the porch.

A really lousy photo showing the back patio from my laundry room window.  The pots on the left are actually helping to hold the black plastic down that will hopefully kill all my invasive bamboo over the next year or two.

Now a couple of cat funnies.

Thanks for visiting and I'll be back April 29.

You still have snow, oh, my! In sun it looks nice, though.
Here 33C, brrr, but sunny.
Oh, the "poor" bamboo...

Yes, we need to see life from a different perspective.
If only we looked that cute ;-)

Brrrrr snow! We are lucky to be going through a few weeks of bright sunny Spring days and I love it. I hope your weather warms up soon. I will miss you joining in the fun but by the time you come back I should have a new grandson...they hope to induce her on the 11th April.
Hugs,
Annie x

Oh my. That snow is so pretty but I am really glad it nevers get that cold here. I am not surprised you are 'bundled up'.
I like your recycling etc plan, but unfortunately my month will be filled with family time so I am unlikely to visit much. stay safe and keep warm. Kate xx

Oh that snow looks cold and so much like winter. I hope it has since melted. And I am really loving those kitty memes today. The orange cat in the second one reminds me of skinny version of my Leo. Funny how so many orange tiger cats can look so similar. Have a great FRiday. hugs-Erika

That's a lot of snow -- way more than I have here! Love the cat funnies. Have a wonderful weekend and I hope you are healing from your fall. Thanks for your kind comments. But I'm sorry you can relate through experience!

Finding new uses for old things is a great idea. We have far too much stuff. Fortunately the recycle center here also tries to reuse what can be salvaged.

Hi Elizabeth I must remember to pop over to see you as I am trying at the moment to do the same. I just find it really difficult to throw stuff away that might be useful but I am working on it at the moment. Beautiful photographs of the snow, we've had nothing to speak of this year. Loving the funnies too. Have alovely weekend. Hugs, Angela xXx

The snow is really pretty. Shame it's so cold!
Oh, is it nearly that time again? bEarthday? I can never remember when it is. (It's not much celebrated here, so I only hear it from you). I'll try and visit you as often as I can.
At the moment we are not throwing anything away here, because with a war going on so close by and the lorry drivers on strike, we will have shortages of everything.
Have a lovely weekend (without snow I hope),
Lisca

The snow does look beautiful! Snow is forecast here for Thursday but we also see it's forecast for France too! April in Paris won't be quite the same this time! Hugs, Chrisx
