Sew, sew, sew
Some of you were here last week when I sun painted/dyed this fabric. Those who have seen similar results before know I make scrappy journals and this is the front cover to one. The cover of course, gets folded in half and two sets of signatures are sewn inside.
This is the inside of the cover. On the left is the front inside and on the right is the back inside. Once I add two sets of signatures in the middle, this scrappy book will be complete. The single pocket (on the left) is meant to hold minutia, flotsam, and jetsam you want to add to your journal. The pocket on the right will hold two pens or pencils so you can write away to your heart's content. I hope to have it complete before the end of the month, because it's a Christmas gift.
This is Day 7 of AEDM. Thank you as always for your continued support of my art. It means everything to me.

This looks brilliant already Elizabeth! Even though I saw the fabric I missed that you had spelt out KEY with the keys - you are so clever! I am trying to get some Christmas cards made today! See you for T! Hugs, Chrisxx
I like how this solar printing came out and it will make a cool book cover. The keys were a great idea to use for images, and as a book cover they are very intriguing. I wonder what this journal will be about. Happy new week. Hugs-Erika

Sewing is not my craft so I admire anyone who does it well -- and this will be so great! Especially meaningful given how you did the fabric, too!
Love the little extra pockets, this will be fabulous cover for your journal and a super gift.
