Celebrating Sally's birthday

I took my friend and neighbor Sally to lunch on her birthday (March 28).  We ate at an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet.  I was lucky to get this photo as she was entering the buffet line.  The mirror behind the buffet was a bit tricky to try to navigate.

I was impressed with Sally's healthy choices.  I, on the other hand,  pigged out on Egg Foo Young.

I also got some sushi and had to take a photo to share with my friend Halle of Halle's Hobbies.  I explained to Sally how Halle had recently prepared some sushi and shared the experience on her blog.  Of course, Halle's photos were much better than mine!!

After dessert, I gave Sally a gift.  Not the gift I was (and still am) making, because that has turned into a nightmare of epic proportions, but a small gift I bought last year and forgot about.

It was obviously a hit because she got a laugh out of it!

Looks like a good time! That sushi looks yummy too! I made sushi again last night. As well as tempura shrimp and mushrooms. YUM! :)

Happy Birthday to Sally! She sounds like a good friend and it is fun to hear a little about her through your blog.

Thank you for your nice comments on my polymer clay--I guess all that playing with Play Doh as a kid really paid off!

Wishing you a Happy Easter!
