T Stands For Bagatelle
For the first time since late February, I'm not at home. I've actually ventured out after my eye appointment. EDIT: It was an eye appointment and not surgery as Eileen sugested. They think it might heal on its own, but only time will tell.
Everyone was wearing a mask, so I didn't feel too bad. I was careful to keep as far away from people as possible. And although there were people dining there, I got my food to go. They were very careful and changed gloves with each order.
Although that was the only photo I took that day, here are some I've taken in the past.
This is my drink reference today, because I simply forgot when I got home and dug into my meal.
I won't tempt you with old photos of their cakes and cheesecakes.
Some of you mentioned you didn't have a driver's license and wondered what would be an acceptable replacement in order to vote in this November election.
I realize my scanner is on its last leg, but above are the other forms of identification you can use. Gosh, they would have taken my conceal-carry handgun license (GRIN).
By now, I suspect you know the drill. It's time to share your drink related post this week. It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink. Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T gang will be by to visit. Please link only your T post and not your blog in general. Old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday. And since I don't pay for this link, it will only be open until 12 a.m. my time on the 2nd. That is also a subtle way of reminding you about having your Second on the 2nd post ready, too.

Hi Elizabeth! Fun ways of identification over there! Glad you ventured out to get a take-out meal, hope you enjoyed it. The are very careful here, too. I had a coffee out today, it's self-service so I'm the only one touching it. How is your eye doing? Happy T Day, Valerie.
I mailed you about links!
Pleased to read you ventured out.
Hope your eye is doing ok.
I enjoyed seeing your pictures from the past :)
All the best Jan
I'm impressed that they change their gloves for every order. I hope you enjoyed your takeout food. I also hope your eye surgery was 100% successful and that you're not in much pain.
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
Bagatelle Bakery looks delightful, especially their mural. I hope you enjoyed your take-out meal. It's good that you are encouraging people to vote, and not to be discouraged by what look like limitations on our exercise of citizenship rights and duties.
Thank you for all the comments on my blog. I enjoy hearing from you.
be well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I am back! Sorry I missed last week. I am glad you got out. I barely get out except for my walks. I did go to the Post office early today. Hardly anyone there, and everyone had on masks, including me. It is sure a different time. Happy T Day1
Glad you got out. However what is wrong with your eye? I missed that somewhere. It sounds like this place is being very careful. I am off for eye surgery tomorrow AM.
Glad that your experience out was pleasant despite having to go to the eye doctor. The bakery sounds delicious! That is great that you were able to get takeout.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
The good news is that you don't need surgery right now. Hopefully you'll never need it, and they eye will heal. It is a strange feeling going out, isn't it? I wonder how long it will be, once the world gets back out of covid-19, before we will feel normal? I hope you had something yummy to eat and drink. Happy T day dear Elizabeth. Hugs-Erika
Happy you haven't had to have eye surgery, now just hope it heals fast. The bakery looks like a nice place to get take out. We haven't been out for a mead since March and I miss that. Take out is available in lots of places now that they seem to have figured out how to make it work. I think it is a good way to support businesses when they can't fully open.
Great pics and wearing a mask out is still essential. A lot of the oldies here are walking around with out a mask, yet the young ones are....work that out..x
Hi I am so glad you got out of the house-even if it was take out. hope your eye heals well.
Happy T Kathy
Glad to hear you eye appointment went well. A trip the bakery was well deserved. I'm just imagining all the delicious smells of the bakery. I hope you enjoyed your take-out. Happy T Day.
glad you ventured out for take out. also glad you don't need eye surgery for now at least.
Oh, wee, good luck with your eye. I have an eye appointment soon, too, sometimes it goes all blurry. Scary.
Here things really are opening up, "Corinna"-wise. But masks are mandatory. I was indeed a tad shocked to learn in Denmark it´s not! But then.... People pass you by in inch-range in the supermarket anyways :-(
A handgun license!!! I don´t think that would do the trick
here, LOL. I can try if a mini-handgun-license works, as I have one. (it´s really call "small", "kleiner Waffenschein").
I'm also take out only for now!
Hi! I'm glad you might not need surgery and that you were able to get take out finally ~ Enjoy the rest of your week!
I see you decided to venture out and get take out. I still haven't done that yet. Maybe soon. Connecticut requires an ID to vote, also. I think they take items similar to those you listed. Happy T-Day!
That bakery looks really nice. No need showing pictures, I can just imagine...
I'm glad you were able to get out for a bit, even if you sort of 'had to' because of your eye appointment. Thank you for giving us an update on that.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
Sounds like you had a great experience on your first venture out and about 😁. The bakery looks like a lovely place to order take out - yum! Wishing you a very Happy T Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x
Glad that you don't need surgery. You don't say but I guess it is recovering well as you have been driving.
So pleased you were tempted to treat yourself with a take out - I know you like the food there! I can see now why you needed your driving licence, some of those other forms of identification might have been a little difficult!! Take care, hugs, Chrisx
Luckily, I don't have much of a sweet tooth but I do love good bread.
We have been avoiding eating out. We thought about it for lunch today but decided it was better to limit ourselves.
The voter suppression is maddening :(
I like that bakery, and take-out seems fairly safe to me. I hope your eye heals well. Happy T Tuesday!
What a nice mural/sign they have. I haven't been anywhere like a bakery or coffee shop since March.... I miss it a little.
So lad the surgery isn't part of your game plan!
Glad to hear you're venturing out a little more Elizabeth. It's kind of scary isn't it? I've been in a shop a couple of times recently, but only a small one which had very few people in it. We're going to continue shopping for our groceries online.
Keep safe,
Alison xx
