I'm in a black and white mood today. That's because I was at the Spice Merchant recently and saw photographed mostly black and white mugs.
I seem to be showing a bit of favoritism
to the kitties today. Sorry all you dog lovers. I DO love my cats.
More black and white.
Lots of black and white. Love the mug behind the Mindful Morning Mug, too. It reads: Change the world. Start with coffee.
Love the New Yorker and the cat. It reads: Oh gosh! Yoga in twenty minutes. Can't see either of mine doing yoga, though.
This is from the New York puzzle company, this time with penguins. It reads: You're kidding. I thought it was Friday.
Sorry this is blurry and you see my shadow.
I realize this is blurry, but it is the only one I took that had Toto and the red slippers on Dorothy.
This was the best I could get that wasn't blurry. I love it, but would never pay $18.00 (USD) for it. Not to worry. I suspect it will fly off the shelves.
By now you
probably know the "rules," but in case you don't, please show something drink
related. It can be
photos, a place you visited, movies, tea cups, coffee mugs, a tea or
coffee service, postcards, books, magazines, sketches, mixed
media, drawings, paintings, tags, ATCs, scrapbooking, or other art that
is
digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back
to a drink, any drink. Please share below and Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T
gang will be by to visit. Please link only your T post and not your
blog in general. Old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday, and not just this year.
More good mugs! It’s hard to resist buying them, but I manage. I recently rotated the ones on the top shelf and the ones on the in-use shelf so I have “new” ones. Thank you for hosting. I hope you did get some rest and are no longer exhausted. best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Fabulous and I love your black and white theme 😊. Loving all those mugs, they really are fun and made me smile! Sending you Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
Those mugs are very nice but I wouldn't pa that sort of money for a mug either. I actually don't have any mugs. I have glass cups/mugs, if you will. Really large cups that I drink my tea from and also my coffee as I love a frothy top. The Alice mug with the red shoes immediately had associations for me with David Bowie's song Let's Dance (Put on your red shoes). Remember that one? Happy T-Day, Lisca
These are some fun mugs. I actually like the black and white. I like all the dogs and all the cats. They have some fun faces, and there's a black dog with some white that kind of (too much white) reminds me of Mr. Pete. Have a great T day and week ahead. hugs-Erika
$18 for a mug... no, I´d do the same as you did: Take pics :-) But really nice cups!!! I like the red shoes especially. Have a great T-Day, dear host! Cheers
I have a huge collection of mugs but none of them was expensive! Most were presents or from the Good Will shop here! Have a good T day, take care, hugs!
oh my giddy aunt!!! I want those mugs!!! Is $10 about the same as £10?? I wish there was a shop like this one near me!! I like the Alice and Dorothy one too! Happy T day! ((Lyn))
I just love the selection of mugs at the Spice Merchant. Of course, I'm taken with the cat mugs, but my favorite is Alice asking Dorothy where she got her fab shoes! Happy T Day
I love the red slippers on the black and white mug. Really pops. My black and white mug says: Writer's Block: When your imaginary friends won't talk to you:) Have a great one, dear friend.

Bleubeard and I welcome you
Art, including the journey, background techniques, sewing on both paper and fabric, new experiments, photos, failures, and successes will be shared on this site. I have removed my e-mail address until such time as I can get it to work again. Thank you for understanding. You can always leave a note on my blog and I will visit you.
Please check out my Previous Collaborations link above to see what projects I have been involved in over the past 12 years. Current and ongoing projects only are shown below.
Occasionally, Silent Sunday will showcase photos of my home, neighborhood, or community. A picture is often worth a thousand words.
Feelfree to drop by every second Thursday of the month for my Second Thursday Tutorials. They are interspersed with my other Tutorials found at the link page above.
Click on any lesson you might have missed or want to review
Click on the above image daily and help feed hungry dogs and cats. You can donate cat litter, too. You simply answer two questions (one about cats and one about dogs), and whether your answer is correct or not, you have just donated kibble to help feed both shelter animals and those in need.
I will create the art, critique things I feel are important, and put pen (and sometimes glue) to paper, or fingers to keys, while Bleubeard will mostly watch, supervise, or sleep.

I favor the cat mug, too. ;)
Some very stylish mugs. And no, I wouldn't pay that price either.
