Can you feel the heat 
from the grill? 
I began this page by starting with two colors of green staz-on reinkers and 91% isopropyl alcohol I brushed onto the 110 lb card stock. To that I sewed an old calendar page and the computer generated words "Feel the heat from the grill" using variegated thread.Bleubeard and I are simply thrilled you joined us today, and we also hope to see you at Art Journal Journey.

Thanks for your wonderful comment -- you are very right about so much. Not about the part that Rick and I can touch. We have to keep distance. He's sometimes out there and even though he's careful it's still risky business. SO, we try to stay six feet except in the kitchen and maybe opposite ends of the couch and once or twice I hugged him from behind. Until that (this week) the only living thing I touched in four months was Lizzie. So I can relate to what you said about the cats. But the plus -- it's very good company and we've had some wonderful, deep talks in this time, which is really a gift.
That looks so delicious! I’m not sure how much these kebabs have been on the grill (they look like fruit and brownies!) but I’ll have some to go. Love the colours and your page. Pink Bird isn’t too worried about the goldfinch since the goldfinch is outside. It’s been over a week and he’s still coming to our windows every day. Take care.

Once again you have incorporated sewing into your journal page and once again I am determined to do the same sometime soon. I love how you do this.
Great idea to have a barbecue and I can just imagine those kebabs tasting delicious, in fact you have made me rather hungry for something sweet.

Yum - love a grilled skewer, whatever it has on it (pretty much... no bell peppers for me though, thanks!) and there's plenty of heat on this grill. Love the stitched edging - it's a really great touch of extra texture to finish the page off.
