Day 18 of 30 paintings in 30 Days

For Day 18, I am once again joining Leslie Saeta at Slices of Life.

If you were here earlier for a tour of my studio, you saw this drying on my work table.  I'm calling this one "Cat Fight" because I saw two cats' ears in this piece.  Thankfully, Bleubeard was not one of the cats.  Size is 8" X 10" (20,32 cm X 25,4 cm).

It's always nice when you drop by, especially if since I don't seem to find time to return the visit.

Thanks for calling by at mine yesterday and for your lovely comments. My life is rather manic between now and Christmas because I have taken on extra days with my twinnie munchkins [I'm not complaining cos come Christmas they will be going to nursery three days a week and I will just have the job of taking them and picking them up after]. Time flies so quickly. I have been making the best of my spare time sewing while I can hense all the sewing for charity [it's a gift I have and I have to use it to benefit others :-) ]. I'm really loving playing with all the wonderful fabric I've been given.
I have also been snooping round your amazing crafting room in the post below...would just love to pop over to join you for messy play time.....if only eh? What a giggle we would have.
Hugs,
Annie x

If this was in a Gallery with a famous name, it would sell for thousands. I had a good laugh at your name for it, brilliant, I think you had fun making this, it's terrific.

Oh more yummy painting.
The course list is here btw
https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/upcoming
If you'd signed up they would have sent you e-mails but you have problems with that don't you?
The course is just about the equation of a line but good to get the old grey cells ticking over again.

Just dropped by to say thank you for the very kind comment you left on my blog. It's greatly appreciated. Just to let you know that i have managed to source the key that I used on my project.. Princes Corned Beef tins still have them on. Once you have one, you can make a mould and cast your own.

I love your work and the title you've given it!

Thanks again

Oh, I LOVED the tour around your studio, Elizabeth!

That's such an inspiring place you have! Thank you for sharing!

And I can rather hear the cats fight in that painting than see the ears...but I think I can guess where they are ;)

Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog! You made my day!

Greetings from Vienna,

There does seem to be a lot of energy in this piece so the name is fitting.

Enjoyed your studio tour although I admit I'm a bit envious of your piles of supplies.

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, I know, but I think you have a real gift for the abstract form. I don't know about cats fighting, but I see a lot of joy and energy in this one. I hope you continue to explore the abstract even after this challenge ends. Thx for sharing them :)

This reminds me of a brilliant sun rise, where the wispy clouds catch the colors of the sun as it starts to peak over the horizon.

But if you see two cats fighting, that's good enough for me ...LOL

Wow! That's some fight! They'll stop soon and just growl at each other!! Love it! Chrisx

I thin this is really cool. It reminds me of a tumble jumble of Autumn leaves waiting to be swept away :D

I love the bold colours here - I don't see any cats, but it looks a bit like a scary face to me. At any rate it's very interesting.
