This month has been spent partly working in my basement, partly attempting to allow my back to heal, and partly procrastinating by going out and about. Once again, my page is mostly unadorned. Although I thought blue and green might bring cooler weather, it appears that was not the case until Saturday (the 28th) when decent weather finally appeared.
My October page is ready to go, and I'm hoping cooler weather will soon prevail. Not cold, mind you, just more autumn like and less summer like.
On a brighter note, although my September project is not yet completed, I recently went shopping with a friend from out of town. We went to Michael's (a big box craft store in the US), where I purchased a real notebook for next year's calendar. I never could wrap my head around these file folders, so next year, I'll be working in a real notebook again.
Please don't forget to visit Kate who has links to the other calendar gals and guys. They will appreciate it as much as I.

These are wonderful! xxoo
I like the idea of file folders but a real notebook sounds a lot easier to organize. Then again I can't get organized enough to even do a calendar so there is that.

Hello!! I really love your calenders, the backgrounds are so awesome and colorful!! So glad you got the notebook/calendar thingy for next year, YAY!! I like how yours actually looks like a calendar.
Thanks for the visit and sweet comment. My thumb is still throbbing and darker purple today. I have a new haircut though so that always feels good.
REALLY LOVE THESE COLOR BACKGROUNDS!!
Wonderful pages and you are very busy! :)
You are such a sweetie worrying about me! I am good now, just needed some time to catch up on all the stuff that I ignored when I was not up to it. Stuff like housework and ironing! LOL This week I am back on form and have been sewing but not blogging. I prefer not to blog when I am miserable, nobody wants to hear my tales of woe. I even went out for a walk this morning in the spring sunshine.
Back problems are the pits! Hope you feel better soon. And I hope you show us the new notebook for next year. I like your October spread. :)
I just love your blog....there are always things of interest and you are so generous with your tutorials. Always something to learn
Thank you

The "real" notebook sounds good to me. Not sure what I'll be using when I have finished my 12 months journal at the end of February (end of Winter).
where does the time go!
your calendar pages are wonderful and just right in my opinion!
You are very committed to be planning your 2014 calender already...

I considered making the months for next year just as you have been doing. I love the idea and the look of this quicker preparation.
