Nothing new in my AB

If you were here last Sunday, you saw the tags I made marking the various forms of glue I used in my Rocking Horse altered book for my Lesson 4 homework. You also saw the painfully embarrassing attempts I made to use watered down white glue and water when attempting to transfer colored pencil images.

Then on Wednesday, you saw the Houses AB I was working on using gesso as a glue during WOYWW. It's always hard to see anything using my crazy, never-worth-much camera. And my photos don't seem to be showing up on Blogger, either. Since I don't truly understand the inner workings of Blogger, I am not sure why this is happening.

So here is one finished page after I scanned the photo. You may have to click to enlarge it.

Of course, you should have no trouble seeing the "House 4 Wrent" sign. It's painfully obvious some of the grass has bent over, though!

And finally, here is the page I made using decorative clear tape. I showed this spread on Inspiration Avenue on Friday and explained how I made it. Along with the tape, I used pop dots as dimensional "glue" for the little girl.

So how are you doing on your glue challenges? Hope to see them next Sunday, when I have a Mr. Linky link for you to share your Lesson 4 homework entries.

Lol, I've done my glue pages but not any decorating yet... hope to be finished in time, Miss!

I did my glueing too but the experiment failed as ALL my pages wrinkled. Guess it is a cheap book with cheap paper, not too bothered though as once decorated the wrinkles won't show too much and anyway, they are not wrinkles, they are laughter lines.

fun and colorful work! all the photos came up for me today (unlike last night) so hopefully blogger is on the mend. the little doll piece is adorable, and the theme of houses is so full of possibilities! love the colors and texture of the 'wrented' houses!

I'm working away in my book and have the tags and backgrounds made....now for some glue techniques. Love the wipe or paper towel background of your houses - I've started saving some of those too.

As you know I've been a big fan and follower forever and want to share the love. TAG, you're it. See my blog for details, but no pressure. If you don't wanna play, don't have time, don't like these games, whatever - I'm totally ok with that. I'll still continue visiting your blog. :-) http://creative-explorer.blogspot.com/2012/03/tag.html

Nice pages, I wish I had those bird houses in my yard, but the dogs eat all the bird seed that falls to the ground and
it's not good for them, so bird love happens outside the fence. xox Corrine
