This morning I'm in the kitchen, still nursing my sore back muscles, but feeling better after having stayed off the computer last weekend.
I need coffee to kick start my day, and you can see I've already consumed about half a mug already. I'll drink at least two of these "cups" before I finish passing out all that art.
Although the packages from swappers take center stage today, my grungy mug is ever present. I use it whenever I don't want my coffee to spill, or when I am painting or gluing. It has seen everything, but it beats accidentally putting a paint brush in a smaller cup, or letting the coffee spill on valuable art. And look at all this light in my kitchen. By next week at this time, the kitchen will be in total darkness at this hour. So I'm enjoying it while I can!
When all the art has been swapped, and my pot of coffee is gone, I will be heading for the voting booth. If you live in the US, be sure to vote today. It's your right and honor. Enough said!
Today's blog is a bit of a cop-out because the blog owner is no longer posting to the blog. But there were some really lovely posts and some fantastic photos. It's too bad that the blog hasn't been kept up because it was quite a fun read. However, I simply don't have time to hunt for a great tea blog today. If anyone knows of one I haven't featured, please let me know. It's getting harder and harder to find blogs of interest, so I would love to venture outside my normal circle. BTW, the blog is called Morning Coffee and Afternoon Tea and Chocolate in Between. I hope you'll at least get a chuckle out of the blog title.

Good idea about the coffee mug lid...would be a shame to spoil great art.
Thanks for all your uplifting comments. If you do have a slide mailer, then just dive in. My first one I bought a year ago and was too scared to do anything to it. Then I lost it so bought some new ones and just dived in.
Have a great day
Sue xx

I know what you mean about putting paint brushes in coffee! Sorry to hear about your back but sounds like it's getting better.
Yes, we must all vote - thanks for the reminder!
I had same thought. Time change coming. It is so dark in the morning. I feel I should be sleeping but creating awaits. sip, sip!
Enjoy your morning drink! And have fun making your wonderful art!!! Happy day!
You are wise to take a break from the computer to rest your back .... It's strange to think that something as benign as sitting at a computer could mess up a back .... But it does! I think it's the stillness of it .... Our muscles need to stay warm and moving .... Good luck with your swapping - I know that it's oftentimes a tedious and complcated process - but the happy mail in the end makes it all so WORTH it!!!
Happy tuesday! Kimmie
I'm so happy to hear that you're on the mend, Elizabeth, and as busy as ever with your swaps! Just got back from errands and, yes, voting. If we don't vote, we have not right to complain!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo

Many thanks again for your lovely, lovely, words re/ my blog last week. Cheers.xx
Argh, backs. Am sorry that you're still sore - I do agree about sitting at the computer - causes aggers. Now is it me or are you drinking the milkiest ever coffee? I LVOE the size of the mug though!

What a twit I am... I never thought to do the refresh thingimebob so kept worrying you were laying in bed with Bleubeard in agony whilst all the time you were partaking of mahoosive cakes and things with friends!! LOL I have solved the problem now and added you to my blog list so I can see you update when it happens!! You do seem to do a lot of swaps... I have done some with ATC's and mini books in the past but always get so stressed and worry that peeps won't like what they get so tend to avoid them!! ;)
Hi Elizabeth, glad you are feeling better.
