Plant seeds: a spread in my Hands AB

For one of the first lessons in my online AB class, we used sea sponges to make backgrounds. If a member didn't have a sea sponge, s/he could use wadded up plastic grocery bags. When the postcard weight ad for a local politician came in the mail, I knew it was the right color for this two-tone background.

For the left side, I simply cut out the large image and found letters that matched the sentiment I wanted. For the right side, I cut the smaller image into a tag, then added some fabric I frayed. I scuffed up the sides and the black part of the image using a sanding block, then adhered it using dimensional tape. The sentiment was stenciled on the page.

This is a great spread Elizabeth - I like the way you used the repeating image in a different size. The background lis fab too!
