I love making grunge backgrounds and this one is no different. I started with some grayish 12 X 12 scrapbook paper with tiny flowers and swiped green and yellow, along with lavender and blue metallic acrylic paint in that order using a credit card. Next, I stamped images using Staz-On and a background stamp, then laid down more paint using punchinella as a stencil. I dabbed on some lime green and purple bingo markers. Next I glued down my magazine image, then swiped metallic lavender, blue, and turquoise paint over the edges, as well as adding more stamping and punchinella over the image until I was happy with the look. I love how the image blends into the background, which was the object of this exercise.Thursday, June 11, 2009
Grunge hands in my AB
