Tax day in the USA

After fighting a war to win our freedom from the King of England's imposed taxation, the US instituted taxation during the US's Civil War (in the early 1860s). Repealed in 1872, it was reinstated during the 1890s, and made permanent in 1913 when the Sixteenth Amendment of the Constitution was ratified by the States.

If you live in the US, here's hoping your taxes are filed and you get a large return. This symbolic ATC started with a King playing card, a $ sign made from a tape transfer, and a computer generated message. No one escapes the tax man in the US.
