Update:
Now that I'm sure the paint has dried on this piece, I scanned it.

I'm not sure it's much better scanned, but I'm sure it will be more detailed if you click on for an enlarged view.

Here is a close up of the nest and a part of the branch. Hopefully you can see how textural it is.

Second in my bird series, I call this one "Bird in Nest." The branch was made using black puffy paint and the nest was made from all the thread strings from my quiltlets.
