However, I've now been unlocked, so I can once again post. Below are the two sets of napkin 4 X 4s I created for a swap on ABC.
The idea behind this swap was to use napkins in some clever way in your 4 X 4s. Unlike the map swap, this one was not easy for me. I have a ton of napkins, but that doesn't mean I actually know what to do with them! The left image (Lollipop dreams) started as a flower, but once I cut it out, it no longer resembled a flower. It did, however, look like a lollipop, thus the title.
The side on the right has a coffee pot (stamped on CS) that I spent more time cutting out than I could have imagined. For some reason, this simple shape wasn't all that simple.
My second set began with a lovely napkin background that I think I got from my friend Kathy. I overlaid it with another napkin, gifted me by Linda M-F. The star is made of sandpaper. I was trying to repair a sticky punch, and got a sandpaper star instead
The right side has a napkin background I bought at Tuesday Morning awhile back. I stamped a postal image (stamp is from River City Rubber), then added a flower petal I spritzed with Ranger raspberry Color Wash.
1 thoughtful remarks:
Love your "Hormone" 4x4. I can totally relate to that. You did a great job on these.
