We had a spoon swap on ABC and these are mine. I started by making shrink art moons that I colored with Staz-on purple. The first one I made was the one in the middle. I even got out three of each of the buttons, but after I made it, I thought it was decorated too much, so the next one I decorated was the one on the right. After I strung all those beads, I was ready to take a break, but the swap was due and I had to keep going. The one on the left has a rose on it, so, in order to not cover the rose, I colored white organza ribbon and roses with raspberry color wash. To attach the roses, I used E-6000 and clamped them using a clothes pin until the glue set.
Since you probably can't read the sentiments, the two with the moon read: "Spoon by the light of the moon." The rose spoon reads: "A rose by any other name . . ."
Incidentally, they aren't nearly as dark as the photo indicates. The lighting in the room was inadequate to show their true colors.
