Making lemonade from a lemon

My dear friend Halle gifted me with some awesome artwork for my Money AB. We had talked about me making pages for her Vintage Fashion and Coffee ABs. I even wrote down the page size for each of the books. However, when Theresa was here, my mind was preoccupied and I put the dress pattern tissue background on the CS I had cut for the coffee book. Although Halle assured me it didn't matter to her, the dimensions of the books are quite a bit different. So I put the page aside in frustration and struggled with trying to come up with something for the coffee book using the dress tissue background. Today I received junk mail that had a picture of a credit card with a coffee theme. I thought how it was about the size you could slip into a pocket. Thus, this spread was born.
I went thru my stash of dress patterns and found a pocket, which I had to cut down considerably. Then I found definitions for "pocket" and "shirt." Finally, I attached buttons using E-6000.
Here is the card outside the pocket. Since it was really an ad and not a credit card, paper OR plastic, I had to back it with lightweight cardboard, to which I added my name, etc.
Sorry, you don't get to see what else I created until Halle gets her package. Actually, it's going to be awhile, because I have only just now finished another spread. However, I wanted to share what I learned: don't give up. Even if you mess up, you'll find a way to use your "lemons."
