I had all these reject non-shrink, non-number 6 plastic houses and didn't want to throw them away.
I found an interior of a Frank Lloyd Wright house in a magazine. I reheated the houses until they were hot enough for me to manipulate into various shapes. I then added the shapes to the picture using gold brads and glued the assemblage to thin cardboard.
This is homage to, or maybe a rip-off of, "The Persistence of Memory" by Salvador Dali. The name is also rather appropriate due to the current housing crisis.
