Two hearts beat as one

I want to begin by thanking everyone who has visited me in the past two days.  My apologies because I have NOT had time to visit back, but will do so as soon as my guests (who are most assuredly non-artistic and have no use for computers) have departed.  If I'd been thinking I would have scheduled this, but I hadn't even scanned it until a few minutes ago.

I'm once again joining  Art Journal Journey's theme chosen by Hazel which is If Music Be The Food Of Love, along with Love is in the Air at Try it on Tuesday, and Hearts chosen by Moo-Mania and More.  I call this Two Hearts Beat As One.

These two, just married, now become one.

And now their musical hearts both beat as one.

For this spread that I created in my Coll-AH-ge Too altered book, I first laid down red acrylic paint, over which I created a few hearts cut from excess pages from this book, more leftover dictionary pages, a painted (pink) page from which I cut both the heart and the musical notes, an image cut from a magazine, two number 2 stickers, black paint splatters, and pink and black Micron pens.

Again, I have joined Art Journal Journey, Moo-Mania and More, and Try it on Tuesday where these three challenges have come together and stolen my heart.  Please join me there, if your art meets their specific requirements.

Also, thanks to all who have stopped by and I promise to visit as soon as my company have left the building so to speak.   Thanks, too, for your continued support of my art.

I love your "grunge" look today Elizabeth. Lots of words and just enough color...this page really speaks to me. Sounds like you've had a fun weekend. I didn't see the basketball game which which team won? Hopefully you were happy with the results. Hugs!

I just love this piece! I'm dying to dip back into the paint again -- have a couple of project that must get done first before I can make that mess but oh, how I'm loving this one for inspiration!

Thanks for your wonderful comment on Marmelade Gypsy. I tried to email you a reply but as a no-reply blogger, oops! Anyway, I'm so glad you came by and your words really made me smile! (I have a feeling the other comment didn't get to you either!). Very glad to have discovered you and all this beauty as well as much in common!

Happiest week!
