You may know by now that Bleubeard and I are hosting Art Journal Journey (AJJ) this month. Our theme for the entire month is Anywhere, Anytime, Any Place, with Anyone.
Be aware please, even though I read each post, I can't leave comments on any blog, including my own. It may be a blogger problem, or one I may have accidentally created.
For T this week, we are meeting in my dining room, where I am enjoying some tea sent to me by Mia. I also have a food inspired page for Art Journal Journey.
The mug is rather appropriate, since we are still digging out from the snow we've received lately.
This is green tea, but it has the punch of black tea.
To go with the tea is the latest AJJ journal page. Let's take a look at this awesome page I named Sugar And Spice And Everything Nice.
Sugar and Spice is perfect for homemade cinnamon rolls. Of course there are family favorites, like homemade mashed potatoes which is one of my favorites. There is also a bowl of granola and almonds. For that, we should definitely kiss the cook. I mixed images I fussy cut from magazines with tags I found in my stash. Details are below.
I've shown you mine, now it's your turn to share your T entry this week. The rules are extremely simple.
Your drink related post may be anything
from a photo of a
glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink. You may choose to share a sketch or a digital,
hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered
book, as I have done. Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or wow us with your photography. You might
choose a postcard or decorated card. You might even draw an image on a used tea bag. Or
perhaps
you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie, or book. It makes no
difference as long as it's drink related. And don't forget that the
more unique and outside the box it is, the better we like it. Please tie
it back here, and pleaselink only to your T post, not your entire blog. When you link,
Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit, although I'm sure I won't be able to comment. Bleubeard
would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time.
I want to reiterate I'm NOT a bad host because I don't leave
you a comment on your blog. Unfortunately, even though I read each post, for some unknown (to me) reason, I am unable
to leave comments to anyone, even on my own blog.

Today it's all about time, but from a different perspective. As usual, details are below.
Martin Luther King always seemed to have words of wisdom. I found his quote and fussy cut it, but didn't cut it straight. In order to attempt to disguise my error, I adhered the clock face over the quote.
Bleubeard and I are thrilled you stopped by and hope to also see you at Art Journal Journey (even though I can't leave you a comment) with your own interpretation of Anywhere, Anytime, Any Place, with Anyone.
You may have read even though I read each and every post, I can't leave comments on any blog, including my own. I swear I've tried everything people have suggested to no avail.

I named this Bingo butterfly. Details are below.
I started with a very old heavy cardboard 4 X 6 inch (10.16 X 15.24 centimeter) bingo card to which I added various bits of torn foreign texts, sheet music, and a stamped (by me) butterfly.
Thank you so much for visiting today. I find it hard to believe we are already starting our second week of February. I hope you will join Bleubeard and me atArt Journal Journey (even though I can't leave comments) with your own interpretation of Anywhere, Anytime, Any Place, with Anyone.

As promised, today we are visiting Marseille, France, the largest city in the region known as Provence. Details are below.
I began by stenciling stars in three places on a sheet of 110 lb. cardstock. The dye ink I used was nearly dry and I was not getting much ink to go through the stencil. I got the "brilliant" idea to add a bit of water to the ink pad, since I didn't have a reinker for that pad. It's quite obvious I got too much water on the pad and ended up with a bit of a mess!
I computer generated the words and printed them on my black-only laser printer. I outlined the words using the same brown dye ink I used yesterday.

I'm sure a few of you think I'm a bad host because I don't leave you a comment on your blog, even though I read each post. Unfortunately, it's because for some unknown (to me) reason, I am unable to leave comments to anyone, even on my own blog.
As many of you know, I love to travel. However, I do it purely through my art. This month we will visit France, a country located in Western Europe. Of course, we are here because we are hosting Art Journal Journey this month. Our theme is Anywhere, Anytime, Any Place, with Anyone.
We are headed to Paris, France and Provence. Details are below.
When we hear the word "France," we usually immediately think Paris, the capital of France. However, as I have shown, there is more to France than just Paris. For example, there is Provence, a region in southeastern France. I started with a sheet of gray cardstock which I outlined in brown dye ink. I added three images of Paris and the Eiffel Tower which I found in two different travel brochures. I also added an image representing Provence. I computer generated the words and used the same brown dye ink to highlight them.
Tomorrow we will visit Marseille, the largest city in the region.
Thank you beyond belief for visiting today, even though I am unable to leave comments on any blog including my own. Bleubeard and I would love to see you atArt Journal Journey with your own interpretation of Anywhere, Anytime, Any Place, with Anyone.
You may have read I can't leave comments on any blog, including my own. It is still true, even though I visit your blog when you leave a link on the Art Journal Journey blog.
Today Bleubeard and I are back at Art Journal Journey talking about a favorite of many.
Money, money, money. Detail shots are below.
I got out my old Monopoly set and grabbed a few bills that I staggered on the 110 lb cardstock. I found a strip of glitzy ribbon to which I added the computer generated sentiment. I then added three pennies, one of which I accidentally adhered upside down. These are the pennies I would call "old style." The new ones are made with less copper. The design on the pennies I used show the Lincoln Memorial on the reverse and President Lincoln on the front. These pennies were minted from 1959 to 2008.
The new design features President Lincoln on the obverse and the Union Shield on the reverse. The U.S. Mint started producing the new style in 2010. BTW, the U.S. Mint ceased production of new pennies on November 12, 2025, after over 230 years of making them.
Thanks for joining Bleubeard and me today at Art Journal Journey as we celebrate Anywhere, Anytime, Any Place, with Anyone. I believe I should have added Any THING to my list of any's.
Even though I read each post you leave at Art Journal Journey, I can't leave comments on any blog, including my own.
Two days ago, Punxsutawney Philsaw his shadow, so it looks like we are in for more brutally cold weather fore the next six weeks. There goes my hopes for an early spring. Of course, Bleubeard says he's a fake and spring is on the way.
Today Bleubeard and I have an entry that uses a small amount of the scraps that have accumulated on my work table.
This is a collage I put together with scraps left over from past projects. Details are below.
I first layered the background, then fussy cut the little girl. I found the quote that seemed to go with what she might be thinking. I computer generated the words and outlined them with a pink dye ink pad.
Bleubeard and I are grateful you stopped by today. We appreciate you, even though we can't leave you a comment.

Bleubeard and I welcome you
Art, including the journey, background techniques, sewing on both paper and fabric, new experiments, photos, failures, and successes will be shared on this site. I have removed my e-mail address until such time as I can get it to work again. Thank you for understanding. You can always leave a note on my blog and I will visit you.
Please check out my Previous Collaborations link above to see what projects I have been involved in over the past 12 years. Current and ongoing projects only are shown below.
Occasionally, Silent Sunday will showcase photos of my home, neighborhood, or community. A picture is often worth a thousand words.
Feelfree to drop by every second Thursday of the month for my Second Thursday Tutorials. They are interspersed with my other Tutorials found at the link page above.

Click on the above image daily and help feed hungry dogs and cats. You can donate cat litter, too. You simply answer two questions (one about cats and one about dogs), and whether your answer is correct or not, you have just donated kibble to help feed both shelter animals and those in need.
I will create the art, critique things I feel are important, and put pen (and sometimes glue) to paper, or fingers to keys, while Bleubeard will mostly watch, supervise, or sleep.
