Today I'm joining Halle of Halle's Hobbies at Art Journal Journey. Halle is challenging us to think about Botanicals, which is her theme for July. Because I have multiple media, I am also joining Creative Artiste's 117th challenge, where the theme is always Anything Mixed Media Goes.

I first removed part of the stem. I then adhered the leaves using Crafter's Pick glue to the stem and a couple of the leaves. Once they were secured, I added the extra image from my stash and the sign language which covered the stem. I held the sign language in place using clear washi tape.
Materials used included the free background, floral leaves, a triangle from my stash, sign language from my stash, and washi tape.
Thank you for your visit. I hope you will join Bleubeard and me at Art Journal Journey and Creative Artiste.

Always enjoy botanicals! :)
Wonderful,
I really liked that you included the sign language letters, you know every country has its own sign language, I know a little bit of Greek sign language and Braille very well.
Accessibility is so important for some of our fellow human beings....
I agree with Katerina. Just the other day I had to evaluate a screenreader-software. Screenreaders are for blind or near-blind people, making it possible to use the internet etc.
Also like the combination of City and nature.
...I've never heard of Somerset Studio magazine!
What a great page. Love the addition of the sign language. I giggled when I read you had to nearly stand on the scanner cover. :)
I love your piece. How creative. Hope you are doing well.
Lovely
Wow Elisabeth this is stunning. You are so talented.
Wow, what a cool collage. I love the map background, and you added so many great details to it, and of course, perfect for Halle's challenge are the flowers and leaves. You have outdone yourself today. :) Hope it was a nice Wednesday. hug-Erika
Really pretty. I love the muted colors.
This one is especially pretty, Elizabeth. I love the colors, the details, the feeling for it.
Great mixed media piece Elizabeth - love the use of the real leaves. Great to see you joining us at Creative Artiste Mixed Media - hope to see you again next month
