This is for the birds

As I was cleaning my work area, I found another bird entry I could use for both Neet (whose blog is Hickydorums) at Art Journal Journey (whose theme is It must have wings) and Try it on Tuesday's current theme (Things with wings). I will be joining them both for one final entry.

I call this entry This is for the birds.  Detail shots are below.

I had a terrible time getting the elements to stick to the page.  My glue stick just laughed at me, as did my PVA glue.  I finally got out the big gun, E6000.  Everything except the birds was left over from other projects.

I assure you, this is definitely my final entry this month.  Bleubeard and I hope to see you at Art Journal Journey and Try it on Tuesday.

Well, I never expected to see any entries today Elizabeth. Thank you so much.
What a lovely page full of colourful birds. I wish we had the same kind of colours in our birds over here in the UK. Is the red one a cardinal? I see them on Christmas cards and would love to see one in real life.
I remember on a trip to San Fransisco how amazing it was to see parakeets flying freely - and so many, and the delight in seeing hummingbirds in my friends gardens.
Mind you I do get joy from seeing most birds here at home, especially the cute little blue tits that are all over our garden, and it was wonderful to see we got visited by a jay not long ago and he has been back.
Anyhow thank you for a great month, as you know I didn't want to do it but once I got going I was away. It helped me through a bad period in the end and I thank you for that and for all the entries you have made in my challenge at Art Journal Journey.
Hugs, Neet xxx

I suppose you could squeeze in 1 or 2 more entries before midnight-ha ha ha. I like this page a lot. More crinkled paper, and very pretty birds. Even the bluebird. I hope you have a super weekend. And thank you joining TIOT too. I might have forgotten to mention that last time. And thanks for joining with this piece too. All is ready and go for June 1 too; time has been confirmed. hugs-Erika
