Recently my foodie friend Sally and I went to lunch at The Beacon. I always forget to take a photo of the exterior so I snagged the above from the internet. We were there around Halloween last year, too, but I have never shown the photos on my blog.
It appears I also only got photos of the lunch menu, although I chose a meal from the breakfast menu. You can see Sally's water in the background.
I couldn't get this all in one shot, so I took several and showed the best two.
I also got a photo of Sally smiling.
Sally got fish and fries. They came with a veggie, salad, and a roll. She also got tarter sauce which is in the bowl next to my water.
I got two eggs, house potatoes,
and a biscuit. Since I don't like fake butter, I split the biscuit in half and put my eggs on the two halves. I also got water with lemon as you can see in the photos. BTW, there was a surcharge of $1.00 for the eggs. I didn't mind because it had been so long since I had an egg, it was worth it.
I've shown you mine, nowit's time to share your own drink
related post. It can be
photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed
media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is
digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back
to a drink, any drink. Regardless,
please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T
participants. Please link only your T post and not your
blog in general. Bleubeard would like to remind you that old
photos are acceptable because they may be taken
any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year. Please remember to visit your
fellow T participants.
I could eat breakfast any time of day. And I like a biscuit with breakfast too. Those potatoes looks yummy too. I'm just curious, does the menu call Sally's dinner fish and chips, or maybe it's fish and just picked fries as part of her meal. Have a great T day. hugs-Erika
Goodness! A surcharge for the eggs. Looks really good, though. Breakfasts are always good any time of day--especially when you don't have to make them yourself. ;)
The oldest working lighthouse, wow! Your friend looks so happy, too, thank you fo for the smile :-) Oh, and the food!!!! And oh, the lemons! Need to buy some. Really, that egg-thing in your country.... Here you can see... hear, btw how very DUMB our politicians are... Annalena Baerbock wants a "Bacon of hope".... Happy T-Day and to Beacons of hope!!!!
How wonderful to see Sally smiling! And her meal of fish & chips looks delicious. It even comes with the traditional tartar sauce. Surcharge for eggs? Yes, I heard eggs in the US are very expensive. Time to keep some chickens I suppose. I am fortunate that, living in a rural area, I know so many people that have chickens that I never buy them in the shops. I give 2 euros for 6 fresh eggs. Happy T-Day, Lisca
So lovely to enjoy a meal with your foodie friend and I smiled seeing Sally's photos 😊. It looks like a great place and your meals look delicious. Wishing you a very Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x

Bleubeard and I welcome you
Art, including the journey, background techniques, sewing on both paper and fabric, new experiments, photos, failures, and successes will be shared on this site. I have removed my e-mail address until such time as I can get it to work again. Thank you for understanding. You can always leave a note on my blog and I will visit you.
Please check out my Previous Collaborations link above to see what projects I have been involved in over the past 12 years. Current and ongoing projects only are shown below.
Occasionally, Silent Sunday will showcase photos of my home, neighborhood, or community. A picture is often worth a thousand words.
Feelfree to drop by every second Thursday of the month for my Second Thursday Tutorials. They are interspersed with my other Tutorials found at the link page above.

Click on the above image daily and help feed hungry dogs and cats. You can donate cat litter, too. You simply answer two questions (one about cats and one about dogs), and whether your answer is correct or not, you have just donated kibble to help feed both shelter animals and those in need.
I will create the art, critique things I feel are important, and put pen (and sometimes glue) to paper, or fingers to keys, while Bleubeard will mostly watch, supervise, or sleep.
