Lunch at the Beacon

Recently my foodie friend Sally and I went to lunch at The Beacon.  I always forget to take a photo of the exterior so I snagged the above from the internet.  We were there around Halloween last year, too, but I have never shown the photos on my blog.

It appears I also only got photos of the lunch menu, although I chose a meal from the breakfast menu.  You can see Sally's water in the background.

I couldn't get this all in one shot, so I took several and showed the best two.

I also got a photo of Sally smiling.

Sally got fish and fries.  They came with a veggie, salad, and a roll.  She also got tarter sauce which is in the bowl next to my water.

I got two eggs, house potatoes,

and a biscuit.  Since I don't like fake butter, I split the biscuit in half and put my eggs on the two halves.  I also got water with lemon as you can see in the photos.  BTW, there was a surcharge of $1.00 for the eggs.  I didn't mind because it had been so long since I had an egg, it was worth it.

I've shown you mine, now it's time to share your own drink related post.  It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T participants.  Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year.  Please remember to visit your fellow T participants.

  4. I could eat breakfast any time of day. And I like a biscuit with breakfast too. Those potatoes looks yummy too. I'm just curious, does the menu call Sally's dinner fish and chips, or maybe it's fish and just picked fries as part of her meal. Have a great T day. hugs-Erika

  5. Goodness! A surcharge for the eggs. Looks really good, though. Breakfasts are always good any time of day--especially when you don't have to make them yourself. ;)

  8. How wonderful to see Sally smiling! And her meal of fish & chips looks delicious. It even comes with the traditional tartar sauce. Surcharge for eggs? Yes, I heard eggs in the US are very expensive. Time to keep some chickens I suppose. I am fortunate that, living in a rural area, I know so many people that have chickens that I never buy them in the shops. I give 2 euros for 6 fresh eggs.
    Happy T-Day,
    Lisca
