It's Friday and time for ICADs. I'm joining Nicole for Friday Face-Off and Gillena for Art For Fun Fridays along with Tammy Garcia at Daisy Yellow (Index-Card-A-Day). It's also Juneteenth, a Federal holiday to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States.
Day 13: Dance. Background is encyclopedia. Red, blue, and green dry erase colors. Postage stamp from Christmas 2000. Names in purple Micron pen.
Day 14: Fancy. Background is Russian text. Blue dry erase color. International (French) postage stamp. Names in blue felt tip pen.
Day 15: Map. Background is crossword. Blue and green dry erase colors. Postage stamp is 150th anniversary of Lewis and Clark expedition. Names in green felt tip pen.
Day 19: Justify. Background is sheet music. Blue and green dry erase colors. Postage stamp is Thomas Jefferson. I would like Jefferson to justify how he could be the primary author of such an eloquent document as the Declaration of Independence and still hold slaves including one, Sally Hemings, with whom he more than likely had sexual relations and fathered her child, Eston Hemings. Our names in blue felt tip marker.
I'm
creating ICADs but am not on the sites where Tammy posts. Therefore,
this is the only place you will find Bleubeard's and my ICADs.
Thanks for visiting today. Bleubeard and I hope to see you at these art blogs, too. We are delighted you dropped by.
Friday Smiles will be posted this afternoon.

Happy Friday, Elizabeth
Thanks for linking and sharing your ICADs with AFFF
much love
Fancy ones, wish I could dance, Elizabeth.
Sadly with my job-situation still open I don´t feel arty...
...Elizabeth, you don't have to justify having a fancy dance to the jazz music!!!
You gave me. A great idea . I need to find some crosswords to use on some of my pages. Perhaps I can find some that have been worked on, or even finished.
Thanks
Your ICAD's are fabulous once again. I love your use of color and line. I got some index cards, and started working on one yesterday. However don't think I could find the time to do one a day. Happy FFO!
Your ICADs are always so creative and full of interesting details. I love how you mix old texts, stamps, and colors to tell a story on each card. The “Justify” piece really makes you stop and think too.
Creative cards ~ fun too ~ Hugs,

That's a great collection and I like how you switched up the style of them this year. Have a super rest of your Friday.
These are just brilliant! I was reading some of the news print and that what you choose for these adds to how clever you are with your art. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a lovely weekend.
You're really keeping with this challenge and the result is great. Thank you for telling me about ICADs - I don't think I will jump on that wagon since I simply lack the time and there are so many other things I still want to do. But I enjoy seeing yours and am always looking for the stamp on the index card.
Lovely ICADs! Love them all. Wonderful post and I will try to post on Tuesday. It's been a busy month. Birthdays and my daughter's graduation. I hope you are well Elizabeth. Lost of hugs and positivity your way!
With the World Cup going on, your ICADs remind me of international flags.
