Even though I read each post you leave at Art Journal Journey, I can't leave comments on any blog, including my own.
Two days ago, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, so it looks like we are in for more brutally cold weather fore the next six weeks. There goes my hopes for an early spring. Of course, Bleubeard says he's a fake and spring is on the way.
Today Bleubeard and I have an entry that uses a small amount of the scraps that have accumulated on my work table.
This is a collage I put together with scraps left over from past projects. Details are below.
I first layered the background, then fussy cut the little girl. I found the quote that seemed to go with what she might be thinking. I computer generated the words and outlined them with a pink dye ink pad.Bleubeard and I are grateful you stopped by today. We appreciate you, even though we can't leave you a comment.

Now that's a some cool paper layering and a super quote. I like the vintage girl too. I wonder what she's wishing for? Or has already? Maybe spring. I agree with Tom. What does a woodchuck know/ Usually in my area we will always have 6 more weeks of winter. hugs-Erika
