T Stands For Breakfast Buffet

Recently, my foodie friend Sally and I went to an all you care to eat breakfast buffet.

I went straight for the fruit and cinnamon roll,

while Sally went for scrambled eggs and pancakes.  Drinks were included, so I started with a lemonade and finished with coffee and half and half.  As always, Sally had water, which I failed to include in the photos.

It's now time to share your own drink related post.  It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T participants.  Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year.

It's time to dig up your Second on the 2nd.   The rules are quite simple.  You can use any post, any length, any genre, as long as it's been published sometime in the past.

  1. We don't have any day all you can restaurants here any more! Perhaps some people ate too much! Happy T Day, hugs!

  2. The food looks good. I avoid “all you can eat” buffets because I never feel like eating enough to get my money’s worth. I’m better off just ordering what I want from a menu. Fruit and cinnamon rolls look good. In fact that’s what I had for breakfast this morning.
Thanks for hosting the Tea Party.

  3. Sounds like you both enjoyed the buffet and a cinnamon roll and pancakes would be my choice for breakfast - yum 😊. Glad you had a good time and wishing you a very happy T Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x

  4. I have not been to a buffet in ages! I'm not even sure where one is around here. I remember how much my kids loved them...they got to chose...eat what they wanted. Well at least when Grandma and Grandpa took them. Mom had a few rules. :)
    Happy T Day!

  6. I never go to ‘all you can eat’ places and buffets as I don’t eat much ( especially at breakfast), and I don’t trust them to keep all the food at the correct temperature and who knows how many children have put their grubby fingers in the food. No, I want a la carte, cooked for me.
But I must say the fruit and the roll look very nice.
    Happy T-day,
    Lisca

  7. I like breakfast buffets. I only get them at hotels when I travel, and a lot of those aren't very good. But the ones in Greece was fantastic. I'd go for fruit and a cinnamon roll too, but probably some eggs with that too. Or yogurt. Have a super T day. hugs-Erika

  9. I guess I didn't know they had all you can eat breakfasts, but then I haven't been to a restaurant in a couple of decades now. Looks like it was good with lots of choices, though. :)

  11. LOL, that all you can eat-stuff... the people would love us! Ingo and I share a breadroll. As Ingo has near to no pancreas he cannot eat much and I hence don´t eat much anymore, either (it´s weird when a man, taller than you eats less than you. Or maybe it´s just age...).
The fruit looks yum, like SUMMER!
HA, thank you for the reminder! I need to go shopping come 07:00 a.m. - fruit it will be!

  13. Oh, very nice, dear Elizabeth, that you had such a delicious breakfast with your friend Sally. Fruit is also always very important for me at buffets like this. I usually try everything from salty to sweet ;-DD By the way, we were recently at an all-you-can-eat brunch (in the summer residence of our former emperor ;-)). You will see photos of it in my linked post. And many other photos, because it was an eventful time ;-)

  17. Just responding to our question. You asked if I took my bee balm in for the winter. I don't. Mine is planted right in the ground. It dies back and grows back the next spring. I'm not sure what variety you have, but I am guessing the roots of mine freeze in the ground. I have some potted plants that make it outside in the winter, but I don't know about bee balm because obviously mine isn't in a pot. I don't know how helpful that is. Hugs again-Erika

  18. Having a good breakfast is always a good thing. I personally make me an omelette with bacon, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese almost every moment and have a glas of orange juice and at least two cups of coffee.
This time I have to appologize...I´ve got three entries. I hope you dont mind.
    All the best

  20. We haven't been to a buffet since Covid. Oh except at the hotels. The hotel we stayed in Lisbon last December had the best buffet, imho.
