Journal 52, 2015, Week 1: Pathways

Chelle at Journal 52 has given us our first challenge for 2015, and it is Pathways.

Since I haven't had time to charge my batteries (or the ones in my camera, for that matter),

I decided to scan my background.  Many of you who have been here this past week will recognize I used the same tissue paper I used on one of my APCs.  However, I suspect if I hadn't shown this scan, and the fact that I had to patch it in a couple of places to make it fit, you would not know it was there.  I simply didn't want to leave the used file folder "naked."

No disrespect to songwriter Lindsey Buckingham, or Fleetwood Mac who sang "Go Your Own Way," but when I saw the prompt Pathways, that was what immediately came to mind.

And once I got it in my head, it was there to stay.

Of course, I wanted my "song" to hold a more positive message than the one Buckingham wrote.

Mixed in among the magazine images I chose,

were the "lyrics" I wrote

that show the pathway I have chosen as we begin this 2015 voyage.

And in case you can't read it,

Go my own way!

I will go my own way
Call it another art filled day
I will go my own way
Down this artistic pathway.

Thank you for visiting and seeing my take on this first week of Journal 52 in 2015.   I appreciate your comments, because they mean so much to me, especially as I am trying to get over whatever this is I came down with over a week ago.
