Marseille

You may know by now that Bleubeard and I are hosting Art Journal Journey (AJJ) this month.  Our theme for the entire month is Anywhere, Anytime, Any Place, with Anyone.

Be aware please, even though I read each post, I can't leave comments on any blog, including my own.  It may be a blogger problem, or it may be a problem I created on my computer.

As promised, today we are visiting Marseille, France, the largest city in the region known as Provence.  Details are below.

I began by stenciling stars in three places on a sheet of 110 lb. cardstock.  The dye ink I used was nearly dry and I was not getting much ink to go through the stencil.  I got the "brilliant" idea to add a bit of water to the ink pad, since I didn't have a reinker for that pad.  It's quite obvious I got too much water on the pad and ended up with a bit of a mess!

I computer generated the words and printed them on my black-only laser printer.  I outlined the words using the same brown dye ink I used yesterday.

Thank you so much for visiting today.  I hope you will join Bleubeard and me at Art Journal Journey (even though I can't leave comments) with your own interpretation of Anywhere, Anytime, Any Place, with Anyone.

  2. I didn't know that about Marseille. That's interesting information. The Greeks founded a lot of places along the Mediterranean's European shore. I wonder how many others there are that are still actually living functioning cities. Have a super weekend. hugs-Erika
