Today I'm meeting three challenges with one journal page. Mia at Craftartista, hosting Art Journal Journey (AJJ) wants us to create a background, Nicole and Friday Face Off (FFO) wants us to share a face, and Try it on Tuesday (TioT) want it to be All about Children.

I call this
Dancing in circles. Detail images are below.

I cropped a closeup of the little girl's face for FFO, and it's obvious there is a child for TioT. The background was created by dipping a paper cup in instant coffee and water, and twisting to get the circles. That satisfies AJJ. The little girl is by TH and the sentiment was computer generated and outlined in brown pigment ink.
Thanks for visiting. I am thrilled you dropped by, especially since I have been so ill for so long.
Lovely
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Ingo was sick of our old tablecloth on the balcony that looked much like it. I threw it away (it indeed looked worn) - Thank you for the "summer"-memory and such a cute girl. Wish I could dance....
ReplyDeleteYou designed this beautifully with the ballerina child and the background!
ReplyDeleteHugs Elke
...keep on your toes!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very nice composition.
ReplyDeleteYour coffee circles came out great. And as always, you have a super quote. Nice page my friend. Glad you seem to be feeling better or enough on the mend to join Mia over at AJJ. :) hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteSorry you are still not feeling well.
ReplyDeleteClever idea with the circles!
Rest and feel better. :)

Hi Elizabeth! The airiness of those bubble looking shapes were the perfect backdrop for that sweet ballerina. Happy FFO!
ReplyDeleteSon todas preciosas, que arte tienes. Maravilloso. Un abrazo desde España
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth, Wow, I love how you’ve combined three challenges to create this incredible page! The circles in your background look amazing, and the ballerina is so adorable. But I have to say, I’m particularly drawn to your title and the clever play on words. You’re so creative! Thanks, Sharon
