Road trip

By the time you read this, I will be on a road trip with friends.  They are members of my No-names, no-photos group.  I've talked about them in the past.  In case you aren't familiar, these are high powered women who are doctors, lawyers, business owners, college professors, psychiatrists, etc., or married to doctors, lawyers, etc.  They don't want their names and faces all over my blog because at least two of them are richer than god rich.

I love my baggallini bags.  There are many pockets and places to hide things.  Be aware, they are incredibly expensive.  The blue bag is for clothes and the red one is for art.  We will each take turns driving, but when I'm not, I can create art and talk/converse at the same time.

Sorry for the lack of lighting.  I forgot to turn on the overhead light in the guest bedroom.  I've just started adding items to the art bag.  You can see a UHU glue stick and a few makeup sponges, as well as a file folder holding collage fodder.  I'm still gathering the rest of the art I want to take.

This is my go bag I keep with hygiene items.  It stays in the bag because I have replacements, like an electric toothbrush and flosser I use daily.

Right now, all I have ready are these slacks that are about two sizes too large for me, except around the waist, and a nightgown.

Feel free to drop by.  Say hello to Bleubeard and Squiggles, but I can't visit because I still don't own a cell phone.  We are heading to Missouri and may end up in St. Louis.  Only time will tell.

  1. Have fun! It sounds like a good weekend away. And I also keep a bag in my suitcase with my spare toothbrush, etc. I need to get another waterpik to put in it, but even so, it makes packing a lot easier. Enjoy yourself! hugs-Erika

  2. Baggalini makes terrific products. You're right -- they are expensive. But they are washable and last forever. It sounds like a terrific weekend. Sorry your gang won't photograph (even from the back?) but I know you'll see many wonderful things to share!

  3. Sounds like an adventure in the making! I’d love to say hello to Bleubeard and Squiggles—they sound like quite the characters. Safe travels to Missouri, and I hope St. Louis treats you well if that’s where you land. Who needs a cell phone anyway when the open road is calling?

  7. Road trips can really be fun, and I hope you enjoy yourself! St. Louis sounds like a good place to go — I love the St. Louis art museum — it was where I first saw works of art while I was growing up there. My mother loved to take us to exhibits there.
