Today I'm once again joining Neet (whose blog is Hickydorums) at Art Journal Journey. Her theme is It must have wings.
I call this
Ode to a goldfinch. It was a difficult journal page to create, but incredibly simple. Because of that, I'm also sharing it with
Try it on Tuesday, whose theme this fortnight is
Keep it Simple. The background is 110 lb cardstock, cut to 5 X 8 inches (12.7 X 20.32 centimeters). The yellow and pink colors were cut to 4 X 5 inches (10.16 X 12.7 centimeters). The goldfinch was from my stash. The sentiment was computer generated.
Love your play on words Elizabeth. What a beautiful bird and such pretty colours you chose to mount it on. Thank yoiu for joining my theme at Art Jouirnal Journey.

ReplyDeleteI have so many goldfinches at my feeders lately.Sometimes as many as 12 at a time. Those background papers match your goldfinch image nicely. And thanks for joining TIOT also. It's much appreciated. Have a great day hugs-Erika
