It's a hoot!

It's time to join Neet (at Hickydorums) who is our host this month at Art Journal Journey.  By now you probably know her theme is It must have wings.

This is a hoot!  That's the name I gave this latest entry.  It was quick and easy.  As a result, I'm also sharing it with Try it on Tuesday, whose theme this fortnight is Keep it Simple.  Detail shots are below.

I started with a background that had been painted by an elephant.  I picked it up one year at our local zoo.  To it I added the owl, which started life as a coaster from Nature Conservancy.  I computer generated the words and outlined them using green dye ink.

Thanks for dropping by today. Bleubeard and I are delighted you stopped by and hope to see you at Art Journal Journey and Try it on Tuesday.
