This European starling is wishing for spring to arrive. Food is rare in this environment. Detail images are below.
I started by adding pink, yellow, and orange Staz-on reinkers to 91% isopropyl alcohol which I spread on 110 lb. cardstock. I found the crossword in my neighbor's recycle box and the bird in a Mensa magazine. I colored the crossword using red and yellow sharpies. I fussy cut the bird and adhered it to the crossword.Thanks more than you can imagine for taking this 22 day journey with me. For Day 18 of 22, I recycled a bird from a magazine and repurposed a crossword found in a recycle box. You will also find me at Art Journal Journey today. Hope to see you there, too.
