Today I'm back joining Erika and her bird theme at Art Journal Journey.
I started by cutting another used file folder in half. I then adhered the foreign language text from my stash to the file folder. A bit of sheet music (When I have, When I am, When I have) topped the text. The puffin card was sent to me by my friend who was into puffins at that time. I cut the card down to better fit on the page.Several years ago, I was one of the last persons to leave Herb Day (always the first Saturday in May). One of the ladies with the tickets was getting ready to throw them in the trash. Always on the lookout for collage fodder, I asked if I could have the tickets she was getting ready to throw away. She gave all of them to me. I have a lifetime supply and saved them from going to the landfill.
Thanks more than you realize for taking this 22 day journey with me. For Day 17 of 22, I recycled a used file folder, a sheet of text, a tiny bit of leftover sheet music, three tickets, and part of a gifted puffin card.

Puffins are such odd but cute looking little birds. :)
ReplyDeleteWell done. I really, really like puffins - and would love to see one.
ReplyDeleteThose puffins look like they're having some chilly weather. But even if the weather is bad, you can't go wrong with puffins. And that was a nice score on those tickets. Have a super day, and thanks for linking up to AJJ. hugs-Erika
ReplyDelete...and who doesn't love puffins???
ReplyDeleteAH! Puffins again! I love seeing them fly towards their burrows with a beak full of little fish to feed the pufflings. There’s a strip on their beak that glows in the dark so that the little ones can find the fish.
