Landscape

Today we will be creating a landscape.  Kelly pointed out a landscape includes a background, a middle ground, and a foreground.

I originally thought I had taken this photo to use for my triangles.  Instead, I am using several of these images to create a landscape.

This is a rather paltry landscape, but it's the best I could do with what was available in Lonely Planet.

This is Day 7 and I recycled five pages from a gifted magazine.  Thank you to those of you following along on this voyage with me as I recycle something everyday for 22 days.

  1. Your definition seemed a bit simplistic, so I thought more about famous landscape paintings, and I think it’s a workable definition for classic European landscapes. Asian painters had a different vision. So did Monet and Van Gogh and some of the more modern painters. I looked at this collection:

  2. It’s encouraging to see how creativity can emerge from limitations. Using recycled materials and reimagining them into a landscape, even a modest one, shows both resourcefulness and artistic vision. It’s a thoughtful way to engage with art and sustainability at once. I shared a new post; you are invited to read: https://www.melodyjacob.com/2025/04/amazing-guidingcross-hoodie-testimony-faith-hope.html Thank you.
