It's Friday, which means it's time to join Friday Smiles, hosted by Annie (at A Stitch in Time). Let's visit Annie and the other wonderful ladies who also share their smiles each Friday.
That's the end of autumn in my neighborhood. The winds have now swept many of the leaves from the trees.
Now for
That's the last of the autumn trees in my area. The high winds and varying temperatures have put an end to the beauty I saw a few weeks ago.
Now for a few funnies, this time about teens:
I hope you found a few of these funny. Thanks for joining me today and don't forget to visit Friday Smiles.
the trees looked gorgeous! happy Friday. thanks for dropping by Kew!
ReplyDeleteLove those trees. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThe trees are beautiful. I love October colours. Shame they have to fall so soon.
ReplyDeleteYou asked about me waste didposal. I guess you have them by a different name. It is a cylinder that fits under andis plumbed into the drainage pipes. When the tap is running youpress a small airswitch on the draining board and it grinds up anything and flushes it away. I put down anything organic, veggie peelings, dead flowers, fruit that is passed its best, egg shells, tea leaves, and any left over bits after a meal. If I had a big garden I would compoct most of them, but I have no use for compost so it all goes down the sink, and that way I have no smelly rubbish in my kitchen bin.
Thanks for the smiles. Kate xx.
Beautiful trees. Yes, on the way to the doc I saw naked trees already. Completedly naked....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the funnies!
Gorgeous autumn colours and the funnies are brilliant...we now have 5 teenage grandchildren!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Hi Elizabeth, the autumn colours are beautiful but yes they will soon be gone as the winter approaches. It's pretty much the same here the trees are losing their leaves. I love the teenage jokes they would make me laugh exept they are completely the truth and not really jokes at all! Hee Hee! Have a good weekend sweetie. Hugs Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn colours!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smiles. Please explain the Oklahoma joke. I didn't get it.
I had a teenage daughter (Tracey when she was young) and oh my! Definitely worse than boys!
Have a great weekend,
Lisca
...keep smiling, it beats whatever is in second place.
ReplyDeleteYou had some beautiful colors in your area. Enjoy the weekend
ReplyDeleteLooking good in your neighborhood! I'm really enjoying your funnies!
ReplyDeleteThese teenager memes made me smile, but being a big fan of teenagers, they are often quite sweet too. However, the yellow box where the teacher said you failed the test and the kid said you failed to educate me, could be quite disturbing. That's a kid who take no responsibility for their actions, and it make me think of other "things" i'm trying not to think of this election week. Have a great start to your weekend. And oh yes- your autumn foliage photos looks lovely. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday
ReplyDeleteLovely
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall trees!
ReplyDeleteGlad I am not around teenagers...yet. LOL! ;)
I just took a walk to look at the changing leaves. Oddly, we seem to be slower at losing leaves than you are — still quite a lot of them. I suspect that more have fallen out in the country a few miles from here, where it’s colder at night.
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.bolgspot.com
Those trees are so lovely.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
