Today I'm joining Jo, our host this month at Art Journal Journey. I have named this The Mountain.
As some of you might know, Jo's theme is Nature. I even have two detail shots.

I started by tearing book pages to form the mountain. I actually started this last month, but it took forever to assemble the mountain to my liking. I then colored it with three colors of water soluble crayons. I just hope it looks like a mountain to others, too.
Next I created the sky using two blue and one yellow water soluble crayons. Finally, I gave the journal page its name by creating ransom style letters.
Bleubeard and I
are so very pleased you joined us and hope to see you at Art Journal Journey as you share your own interpretation of Nature.
I have my own mountain to talk about.

Here's a sneak peak showing my mountain. Stop by Friday Smiles tomorrow to see what I'm talking about.
I love the mountain you created - and hope you can climb/defeat the other one in your life.
ReplyDeleteVery, very clever, I love this!
ReplyDeleteCould you do me a favor, please? Blogger won´t let me comment at Jo´s anymore, no matter which browser I use! Could you let her know? I do pop in, but... not a chance to say a word.
Looking forward to see what´s going on with your real mountain.
...I hope that the mountain looks better than he sneak peak.
ReplyDeleteYour creation does look like a mountain!

I like your mountain. It definitely looks like one. :) And is that a pile of loam or compost? I hope that mountain isn't ripped up paving material. Have a great Thursday. hugs-Erika
